Zephyr is a vent manufacturer that commonly uses LED lighting in their high-end vent hoods. LEDs have a longer lifespan and lower energy usage than Halogen, and produce much less heat when in use.
An average Halogen bulb for a vent hood can be anywhere from $10 to $30 a bulb, while an LED bulb is about $40.
